The Varsity Lady Celtics picked up another league win to improve their record to 8-4 (5-2) again Delaware Hayes. The Celts controlled the game wire to wire, again looking sharp in the half court while holding their opponent well below their season scoring average defensively.

Amaris Lowery led the Lady Celts with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Lowery was 6-6 from the free throw line, helping salt away the game in the 4th quarter.

Alie Intihar was dominant inside with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals. Intihar also was vital defensively, holding her defensive assignment to zero points.

Brittany Sanders added 7 points while shooting a perfect 3-3 from the field and 1-1 from the free throw line. Sanders is on a 2 game streak of being 100% from the field.

Jamie Cline turned in a solid floor general performance with 3 assists and 3 steals while also playing turnover free basketball while under heavy pressure most of the game.

Kendall Sestili was outstanding on the defensive end, using her length and quickness to force the opponent into tough, contested shots. She added 6 rebounds and 2 assists to the stat sheet.

The Lady Celtics return to play on Friday, with an important league matchup at Dublin Scioto.
